Who We Are


Grace Pacific Medical Associates is a primary care medical practice. Aside from a staff of trained medical assistants, we currently have four medical providers. We have a variety of physicians to fit your needs, including internal medicine, family practice, and even a specialist. To learn more about each provider, click the links below.

  1. Dr. Hans Yu

    Dr. Hans Yu, D.O.

    Dr. Hans Yu practices Internal Medicine and manages the health care of adults. He has the title of D.O. because he is a Doctor of Osteopathics. D.O.s are trained exactly the same way as M.D.s (Doctor of Medicine) save that they have additional training in osteopathic manipulative medicine. To learn more about D.O.s, please try our FAQ section. Dr. Yu is a Primary Care Physician and is accepting patients. He is fluent in English and Cantonese, and can understand Mandarin. He is well-known in the Chinese community for his thoroughness, excellent bedside manner, and empathy.


    Availability:

    M, T, Th, F between 9:30am and 5:30pm;

    W from 9:30am to 12:00pm; and some Saturdays.

  2. Wai-Lam Chan, M.D.

    Wai-Lam Chan, M.D.

    Dr. Wai-Lam CHan is a Board Certified Family Physician who has been in practice since 1999. She practices preventive medicine, which involves understanding individual patient risk factors, educating patients about their health, and testing for early detection so diseases are less likely to present themselves. Dr. Chan is fluent in English and Cantonese. An advocate for promoting health awareness, Dr. Chan has appeared on local television and radio in the Bay Area, discussing common health problems encountered in the Asian community. In addition, Dr. Chan also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor for UCSF's Department of Family and Community Medicine, providing training to medical students.

    M 9:00am and 3:30pm

    T 9:00am and 2:30pm

    W 9:00am and 2:30pm

    Th 2:00pm and 4:00pm

    F 9:00am and 4:30pm

    S 8:30pm and 1:00pm

  3. Tammy Lee, N.P.

    Tammy Lee, N.P.

    Tammy Lee is our female practitioner. As a Nurse Practitioner (N.P.), she is qualified to diagnose and manage medical conditions. She is also able to perform pap smears. N.P.s are registered nurses with additional training and are able to prescribe medication. To learn more about N.P.s, please try our FAQ section. Tammy Lee does not accept patients of her own, but patients of Dr. Hans Yu may see her.

  4. Dr. Kevin Man

    Dr. Kevin Man, M.D.

    Dr. Kevin Man is actually a specialist and not a primary care physician. He is a gastroenterologist and takes referred or PPO patients only. (To find out more about referrals or PPO insurance plans, try our FAQ section.) He comes in twice a month especially to see GPMA patients where they can have Chinese translation.


    Availability:

    Some Fridays between 2:00pm and 5:30pm.
